1 item (1 pg.)
Printed Document. "Kimball & Co., is submitting the following
Cornucopiae of choice and fashionable Perfumery and Fancy Articles to
the inspection of an American Public, take a pride in naming, that they
are manufactured in toto, from the most costly of Flowers and Aromatics
it was possible for money or perseverance to procure; and feeling, as
every lover of elegance must have done, the infinity of ill that has occurred
from the pretensions of Empirics, and the vending of spurious or unskilfully
combined commodities, they determined to place their chemical designs
under a man of tried talent and of established reputation. It is to them
a contemplation of satisfaction that they have been enabled, though at
a great expense, to engage the eminent and well-known Chemist, Mr. Wm.
Johnson, late Phytologist to Messrs. Price & Gosnell, of London, under
whose immediate inspection every laboratoric operation will be performed.
Purchasers, therefore, may rest assured of receiving nothing from the
Establishment of Kimball & Co., that is not composed of the choicest
materials, and of as rare a quality as it is in the power of experience
or skill to produce."
